Does the BV2 USB-powered baby car camera need charging?

No. The BV2 is a wired, USB-powered baby car camera and operates when connected to vehicle power. It does not use a rechargeable camera battery. Use the included cable and confirm that the vehicle power source is working.

What should I do if the BV2 will not turn on?

Reseat the USB and camera connections, confirm the vehicle power source is active and check the charger indicator. Press the M button to see whether the display menu opens. If the charger does not light or the screen remains unresponsive, stop testing damaged cables and contact support.

How do I fix No Signal on the BV2?

Make sure the wiring harness is fully connected and the charger indicator is on. Reconnect the camera cable and gently press the connector while checking the display. If the picture appears only when the connection is moved, the cable or connector may be faulty. Contact support if no image returns.

What should I do if the BV2 power cable is damaged?

Stop using a cable with a short circuit, broken connector or exposed wire. Some replacement cables are not yet listed for separate purchase. Contact support with your order number, model and photos of the damage so the team can review warranty replacement options.

Why does the BV2 keep turning off or restarting?

Observe whether the display goes completely black, shows a flashing red message or restarts with the Babyvue logo. Reseat the power and camera cables and check the vehicle power source. Record what appears on the screen and send the video to support if the problem continues.

Use the BV2 section on the Setup & Support page for USB power instructions, mounting, display controls, image orientation and No Signal troubleshooting. Follow the model-specific guide rather than instructions for a wireless camera.

Can I flip or mirror the BV2 camera image?

Yes. The BV2 supports mirror/original image adjustment. Open the monitor menu and select the orientation that matches the way the camera is mounted. If the view does not change, restart the monitor and review the model manual.

What should I do if BV2 night vision flickers?

Clean the lens and light sensor and test the camera in stable lighting. Cover the sensor briefly to check whether night mode activates. If the image continues switching or remains unclear, follow the BV2 troubleshooting guide and contact support with a video.
